Great strip George. I’ve always had a paranoid fear of authority and I think it manifests well in this strip. When I’m on sick leave from school I get terrified to pick up the phone in fear that it may be my teachers calling my up (“You don’t sound so sick! You liar!”)

Luke and I were talking about how much we liked your Krunk strips the other day, I think they’re really unique with your well-considered yet natural drawing ability, and the red and white colouring gives it a really unique look. These elegantly simplistic and formulaic drawings enhance your intelligent and absurdist metahumour, many of your strips read like Zen parables.

They’re very cleverly constructed and interesting little stories, ‘Terrence forgets to laugh’, ‘you have a nice day’ and ‘Carpet Cleaner’ ‘Untitled’ are good examples of the best kind of strips you do.

Your strips kind of remind me of Peter Greenaway’s surreal ‘economical stories’, have you read them?
